ARENGY is a IT-Digital and Cybersecurity Recruitment and Consulting firm operating in the Middle East from UAE. Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe. We are recruiting a Kotlin/Java Software Engineer for a permanent position with an emerging leader in Radio Frequency products.
Your responsibilities:
- Research, design and development for cutting edge cellular communications solutions using Kotlin, Akka, Gradle, Gitlab and Docker
- Design and development of Domain Driven Design, Reactive Architecture, Actor based system
- Develop CI/CD pipeline, Unit tests, integration tests and E2E tests
- Work collaboratively with professional developers, system architects and product managers to deliver high quality technical solutions
- Contribute to technological and architectural decisions
- Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Kotlin and Java software development
- Experience with functional programming, message-based communication, Reactive programming, DDD and TDD
- BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
- Ability to read documentation and create tools based on the specifications
- Self-directed - highly capable at planning out work and executing projects independently
- Team player experienced in working in agile environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Passion for Software Development and Technology in general
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate)
