Job Description

  • Assigning job numbers using the Dolphin system and ensuring the necessary information, creative brief and agreed schedule are filled in the daily job sheet.
  • Liaise with departments on budgets .
  • Coordinate jobs and work flow to prevent problems of timing, quality and cost from occurring.
  • Ensure work is completed according to deadlines.
  • Ensure that requirements for size, photo transparencies, illustrations, printing requirements, quantities etc are met by Production.
  • Circulate work to Account Management for client approval. Forward amendments to Creatives.
  • Make sure all external suppliers’ invoices are accurate, follow-up on missing invoices and handle possible under or over-estimated costs.
  • Daily update of job status reports. At month end, request up-dates from Account Management on job statuses and produce a monthly status report on all jobs in the process.
  • Ensure all central filing of artwork is kept in order.

What you'll need:

  • BA/BS in Advertising Design, Graphic Design or similar major.
  • 1 year’s Agency experience in Traffic, Creative or Production departments.
  • Knowledge of production processes (print and broadcast), and some experience in the in the studio.
  • A high level of energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude to coordinate work between 3 different departments.
  • Team player.
  • Diplomatic skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer skills: Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
