We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Financial Controlling to oversee our financial operations and ensure our financial stability and growth. This pivotal role reports directly to the Division Head at the VP level and is integral to our strategic financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reconciliation: Lead the monitoring and reconciliation of bank transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Asset Management: Oversee the management of shortterm assets and liabilities fixed assets rightofuse (ROU) assets and intangible assets. This includes maintaining comprehensive listings ensuring accurate depreciation and amortization calculations and overseeing asset capitalization and disposal.
• Journal Maintenance: Manage the maintenance of general ledger accounts including the opening of new accounts and the upkeep of existing ones. Collaborate with the product development team on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new financial products.
• Financial Analysis: Handle unusual accruals beyond routine finance operations providing analytical insights to guide decisionmaking.
• Strategic Initiatives: Take the lead on ad hoc financial projects and initiatives contributing to the overall financial strategy and operational efficiency of the organization.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting with a strong preference for candidates who have held senior financial management roles.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field is required. Additional certifications or advanced degrees in finance or accounting will be viewed favorably.
• Banking Experience: Must possess significant experience in the banking sector understanding its unique financial processes and regulatory environment.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing teams and driving financial performance.
• Analytical Skills: An analytical mindset is essential with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Background: Prior experience as an auditor is preferable offering a depth of understanding in financial compliance and risk management.
