Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation:
Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers goods and other road users.
Timely Deliveries:
Execute scheduled deliveries or pickups promptly and within the specified time frames.
Plan routes efficiently to optimize delivery times.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
Report any maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with the appropriate personnel for repairs.
Customer Service:
Interact professionally with customers during deliveries or pickups.
Ensure a positive and courteous experience for customers.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption.
Complete required documentation such as delivery receipts and logbooks.
Compliance:
Comply with company policies procedures and relevant regulations.
Participate in training programs as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid drivers license appropriate for the vehicle(s) to be operated.
Proven experience as a driver preferably in a commercial or delivery capacity.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and routes in the area of operation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads as required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit stand and drive for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and moving packages boxes or goods as necessary.
