The SWITCH Laboratory is one of the leading laboratories in human diseaserelated protein aggregation. It is an interdisciplinary workplace bringing together about 25 researchers from different backgrounds such as bioinformatics biophysics and cell biology. SWITCH has a unique platform of technologies for studying protein aggregation including biophysical ultrastructural and cell biological instrumentations. You can read more about us on our website and be sure to check out our laboratory section to explore the fantastic infrastructure that SWITCH has to offer!
We are engaged in the development of novel therapeutic for protein aggregation diseases including neurodegeneration (eg. Alzheimers as well as diseases outside the brain (amyloidoses). For this effort we are looking for a technician that can focus on the cell culture experiments: from growing of cells to treatment experiments with our novel molecules to biochemical and microscopic readouts including with the automated high content microscope.
At SWITCH we have particular attention for the career development goals of our people and actively support the ambitions of our lab members in the lab and beyond. Information on SWITCH Lab alumni can be found here.
