This parttime role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our comprehensive arts program.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Technical Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the setup and operation of technical equipment for school events and performances.
- Collaborating with the technical theatre team to ensure smooth execution of productions.
- Assisting in the maintenance and repair of technical equipment.
- Providing support during rehearsals and performances including lighting sound and stage management.
- Helping with the organization and inventory of props costumes and set pieces.
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of special effects.
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience in technical theatre or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of lighting sound and stage equipment.
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
