- Supervising the learning factory's day-to-day operation and activities
- Ensuring assigned learning factory's readiness for any technical task within its predetermined mission
- Supporting users in implementing and operating their projects by facilitating and enabling the users’ access to the right equipment and ensuring the effectiveness of their projects’ designs, process flow, manufacturing procedures, assembly, integration, and testing
- Ensuring users work competently and are following the predetermined guidelines and best workshop practice
- Applying the University safety regulations/precautions and safe work practices and immediately reporting any safety violation incident/condition or potential hazards
- Train users on equipment usage and organize frequent training workshops for user groups
- Consistently and actively ensuring the readiness and productivity of the workplace, equipment, and tools
- Operating and maintaining all assigned assets such as equipment, tools, and infrastructure
- Maintaining an updated inventory of all items such as equipment, devices, tools, and consumables
- Procuring consumables/simple supplies from local market vendors and performing required market surveys
- Carrying out equipment troubleshooting and routine preventive and corrective maintenance
- Keeping continuous training of his subordinates and ensuring they are all competent in using all the labs’ assets
- Carrying out manufacturing on additive, subtractive, computer-aided, or manually operated equipment
- Reporting the daily attendance status for subordinates
- Contacting the vendors to get price quotations for any required items
- Monitoring first aid kits, fire-fighting equipment, and safety gear coordinated with the relevant University departments
- Performs any other tasks as assigned
