UltiHash responds to this need with a HighPerformance object storage solution for enterprises and manufacturers that are using data lake and lakehouse architectures to power Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning use cases.

Our storage uses a new approach to deduplication that is computationally lightweight enough to deliver high space savings in Terabyte to Petabytescale datasets without degrading the read performance needed for hot storage use cases.

Combined with these spacesaving capabilities UltiHash lowers the resource consumption of data allowing companies to accelerate their data growth and reach breakthroughs powered by data faster such as in the fields of autonomous driving medical research and others.

Having spent a fruitful 2 years developing and testing our solution we are pushing on to our General Availability with a number of global enterprises already conducting PoCs to test our storage for production usage.

This is a chance to have a high impact role with the opportunity to disrupt the way that data is stored at an enterprise level and while doing so grow in a technical leadership capacity as the team scales.

Tasks

Our sustainable object storage aims to initially function in AWS and OnPrem environments with expansions to other cloud providers planned to support distributed storage across hybrid and multicloud environments.

This role will be a dynamic mix of handson programming and leadership related tasks split roughly 60/40 leading a team of 4 Engineers. While our team is small we combine around 50 years of collective experience 2 PhDs and specialised knowledge in lowlevel network programming cloud architecture and database internals.

We are looking for a Tech Lead that is both up to date and handson with C while being capable of thinking from a strategic perspective on the future requirements and features important for our users.

Aside from a deep technical background the drive and desire to challenge yourself and inspire others are key to this role.

We are open to experienced leaders or those earlier into their leadership track if you are resourceful have an attitude of continuous growth and are passionate about your work.

Requirements

Here are some skills that would give you the right background knowledge to succeed here:

• Proven technical knowledge with C 17 or higher (we use C20 in production) other systems languages are also a nice to have
• 12 years of leadership experience of a smallmid sized team (310 engineers) in a handson capacity
• An understanding of cloud infrastructure from a storage or data platform perspective
