Reliance Retails Internal Audit Department ensures effective risk management control and governance processes. This role involves conducting internal audits across various business verticals and central functions within Reliance Retail Group focusing on Offline Digital Commerce and B2B Businesses. The aim is to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of operations.
Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities):
- Collaborate with Business/Functions Team Lead to develop a riskbased audit plan/program.
- Conduct audit reviews based on the audit plan following Reliance Internal Audit (RIA) methodology.
- Ensure timely completion of audit reviews by strictly adhering to the audit program and timelines.
- Coordinate with external audit teams and manage their audit activities.
- Follow up on open audit issues and ensure timely closure.
- Execute and monitor audits through SAP GRC (Audit management system).
- Assist Team Lead in preparing audit observations for Business Risk Advisory Committee (BRAC) meetings.
- Provide insights to Team Lead on new audit areas based on recent business developments.
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills):
- Proficiency in MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP package.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications):
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Internal Audit focusing on business and function audits.
- Experience in Retail Industry Operations preferably Online and/or Offline will be advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA USA) or MBAFinance.

Additional Notes:
- Focus on sourcing candidates with experience in internal audit for Retail FMCG or manufacturing sectors particularly in process audits.
- Avoid candidates from banking backgrounds and profiles focusing solely on SOX & ITGC audits.
