Job Description

Person Specification

  • graduate in Physics or a related subject with Qualified Teacher Status and a MINIMUM of three years teaching experience post-QTS;
  • enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a genuine passion for teaching, who can motivate and inspire students using a variety of strategies;
  • recent experience teaching Physics within the National Curriculum for England and (I)GCSE, A level or IB;
  • includes assessment for learning as an integral part of classroom practice;
  • understands how to stretch more able students and support those who need further intervention;
  • works collaboratively as a member of a team;
  • committed to her/his own professional development;
  • enjoys the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities;
  • meets the school’s safeguarding requirements in full.

All staff are expected to show a genuine commitment to supporting co-curricular activities, school events and school trips. To comply with Egyptian employment law, applicants must have QTS and a minimum of three years teaching post qualification teaching experience.
