Supply Chain Supervisor (remote Mexico)

Our client is a global midmarket manufacturing company seeking a Supply Chain professional to join an international role with an immediate emphasis on ensuring the optimal flow of inventory vendor management and logistics coordination for a specific range of products in the manufacturing sector.

Looking beyond the immediate the role is expected to transition into supply chain development crafting strategies for international sourcing optimizing existing supply chains and managing assigned projects indicating a shift towards more strategic longerterm supply chain enhancements and risk mitigation efforts.

Immediate Responsibilities

1. SUPPLY CHAIN ACTIVITIES

a) Inventory Planning and Stock Replenishment:
Responsible for planning and maintaining adequate stock levels for all standard product lines
Responsible for inventory analysis consisting of ABC product analysis: identifying top moving inventory items trending items to be monitored and identifying and eradicating obsolete inventories.

b) Vendor Management
Responsible for tracking and reporting on vendor performance. (i.e. vendor scorecards OTD/Quality/Cost/Overall performance.

c) Procurement and Logistics
Responsible for supervising Purchase to Order Purchase Orders (Sales Admin executed purchase orders linked directly to customer live sales orders)
Execution and management of Stock Replenishment Purchase Orders.
Responsible for securing best available pricing quality and delivery for inventory purchase orders.
Responsible for assessing buyout needs to fill inventory gaps when necessary.
Responsible for international logistics: obtaining best rates routes and delivery times for international shipments and for monitoring/managing pipeline inventory.

2. GLOBAL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

a) Sales Admin Support and Supervision
Ensure the Sales Admin team executes new customer orders accurately efficiently and with optimal sourcing instructions.
Ensure that the Sales Admin team is providing Back Order Complete Packets (BKO CP) in an accurate timely manner with clear instructions for the global Warehouse to process efficiently.
Ensure customer orders are not delayed and shipped out on time according to required dates.

b. Supervise the Global Operations to ensure customer orders are being properly prioritized based on the combination of customer required by dates and FIFO.

c. Support the daytoday operations as needs arise.

d. Plan and execute the EOY Inventory Audit on an annual basis (NovemberDecember)

3. 90 DAYS – MEDIUM/LONGER TERM RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Supply Chain Development
Develop playbooks for optimizing international sourcing of various product lines.
Identify optimization and or risk mitigation opportunities within existing supply chains.

b) Project Management
Take the lead or oversee project management needs as assigned.

Salary & Benefits:

• Month salary range:$40000 MX$50000 (mxn).
• Additional benefits as per company policy.
