Store keeper

• Plan, organize and direct activities within the warehouse to ensure stock levels are maintained
• Track inventory levels and report low inventory levels to supervisors
• Unloading merchandise from incoming trucks and stock racks
• Review inventory records to ensure the correct amount of product is available for sale or use
• Communicate with other departments or managers to ensure orders are executed according to schedule and to ensure smooth delivery of orders
• Organize the warehouse to ensure efficient use of space
• Pulling orders from shelves and loading them onto outgoing trucks
• Ensure that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that all safety protocols and procedures are followed while working
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Supervising the procedures for periodic maintenance and safety checks on warehouse equipment
• Train and supervise staff, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed efficiently
• Conduct quality control checks on products before shipping them
• Monitor employee attendance and productivity, and take steps to improve performance when necessary
• Preparing accurate and detailed reports on daily activities
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
