• REMUNERATION (USD$): $6 per hour. $285 $715 per month It all depends on the schedule you choose.

POSITION DETAILS

• Start Date:

• Immediately upon the completion of the recruitment process.

• Teaching Hours:

• Mon Fri 12:30 15:30 SAST (afternoon shifts only).

• Weekend blocks: 2h306h30 07h3009h30 12h3015h30 SAST.

• Set rotation set off days.

• From February 2024 additional classes are available from 07h3016h30 (MonFri) and 02h3016h30 (Weekends) SAST.

• You get paid for the hours that you teach.

• Approximately 30 hours per week depending on your chosen shift schedule.

• Students:

• Teaching kids and adults based in Asia.

• Contract type:

• You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider.

• Location:

• Work from the convenience of your home.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelors degree.
• Completed accredited 120hour TEFL certification or equivalent.
• Experience teaching children is advantageous.
• Computer literate.
• No criminal record.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NONNEGOTIABLE)

• PC specifications:

• Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater.

• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.

• Backup power:

• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 45 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a nonnegotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.

• A stable fibre internet connection:

• At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds.

• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a WiFi connection.

• Noisecancelling headsets and HD web camera:

• Backup headset is highly recommended.

• Tidy welllit and quiet teaching environment.
