Software Test Engineer

Description:

We are currently seeking a Software Test Engineer to contribute to our client projects. As a member of our skilled test team you will collaborate with three distinct development teams dedicated to creating products and modules for our client.

Skills & Background:The ideal candidate is a team player with strong social skills initiative and a crossfunctional mindset. A proactive and positive cando attitude coupled with a sense of ownership for assignments is essential. Handson experience with embedded devices or similar technologies is a prerequisite and a willingness to learn and comprehend consumer electronics with substantial software content is imperative.

Qualifications:

• Master/Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or similar
• Strong commitment to quality customer focus and goal orientation with an ability to see the big picture
• Passion for testing and relevant experience in testing embedded systems
• Ability to work independently while actively participating in a team setting
• Test automation experience preferably in Python and Robot Framework
• Familiarity with working with requirements
• Experience with Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Cloud Services is a merit
• Familiarity with TestRail JIRA and JAMA is a merit
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written especially in English

Take ownership of your work and actively contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our testing processes.
Review requirements and collaborate on refining test ideas within the test team and with developers.
Investigate and discuss findings with developers product owners requirement engineers and the test team.
Design and execute black box tests to comprehensively evaluate product functionality.
Demonstrate initiative by actively participating in and conducting field testing of our products including riding our test bikes or performing drive tests by car.
