Software Test Engineer

Job Description

• Create test scenarios, test cases and bug reports
• Test execution and tracking skills
• Contributes to documentation for operations and deployment.
• Develops and executes comprehensive manual and automated test suites

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience in software testing processes within an agile project environment
• Excellent knowledge in testing skills (Design test plan and test strategy, Writing test cases, Executing test cases, Opening bugs, Verifying bugs)
• Experience on (Frontend, Backend, Mobile testing and APIs)
• Basic understanding of (Component, Unit, Integration, Functional and End to End) testing, using (Jest, Cucumber, React Native/React Testing Library, Detox) or similar libraries
• Basic understanding of test methods such as UI, regression, integration, load, usability, compatibility, etc
• Ability to work in a team and as an individual
• Outstanding attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach
• Time-management skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of agile development practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Understanding the software requirements through documentation
