JOB DETAILS:

The priorities are to assess the needs of the 13 divisions and units and provide support for the development of their pages, to build content areas dedicated to current projects, to provide training for staff to manage the posting of content, and to promote SharePoint best practices and opportunities across the Company so that the intranet can serve as a unifying resource for a remote and distributed workforce.

Managing sites and accounts, including site configuration, custom features deployment, bandwidth monitoring, managing space, and maintaining backups. They also conduct service management, which entails ensuring server speed, updates, patches installed, proper functioning of remote access, and data security. They manage employee training processes, including conducting orientation and new feature updates, producing training documents, and organizing individual sessions for answering queries. SharePoint Administrators also provide troubleshooting support.

JOB DUTIES:

• Manage, design, and administer SharePoint sites for the various divisions of Health.
• User Management, adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
• Create, manage, and update layout/content/database for the corporate website using Photoshop and Dreamweaver, etc.
• Manage and support backup and recovery,
• Involve in developing a centralized intranet website for business users using CSS, XML, and HTML.
• Used HTML and CSS to customize sites based on customer requirements.
• Develop SharePoint forms.
• Implement best practices in planning, design, setup, and installation of SharePoint environments.
• Administer existing IIS websites; maintain SharePoint databases, backups, and restores.
• Monitor event logs, check CPU usages, and IIS consoles, and track the successful completion of search crawls in the SharePoint environment.
• Used PowerShell command extensively to fix technical issues without any impacting the SharePoint environment.
• Develop and communicate governance and best practice approaches for SharePoint solutions at the enterprise level.
• Configure and maintain service applications such as search, user profile, manage metadata and business data connectivity services, etc.
• Manage sites with multiple user departments, and apply principles and processes uniquely related to SharePoint to support intranet and collaboration initiatives.
• Design and implement SharePoint site structures including site creation, management, and administration and list/library creation, management, and administration.
• Perform SQL performance optimization through performance tuning, hardware sizing, and index statistics optimization.
• Activate and configure the audit log and generate reports using PowerShell in response to requests for usage information by content administrators.
• Design, and implement CSOM, and JSOM web parts for office365.
• The desired candidate will be working through the full life cycle development (starting development, testing, and deployment)
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems
• Write and maintain documentation, including standards, procedures, high-level, and low-level designs


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a highly capable SharePoint administrator to manage our SharePoint environment. You will be configuring our SharePoint platform, adding document libraries, and developing shared storage space and backup procedures.
To ensure success as a SharePoint administrator, you should exhibit solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and the ability to create a positive experience for end-users. An outstanding SharePoint administrator will be someone whose expertise results in smooth integration and efficient online collaboration.

• Advanced SharePoint skills
• Windows Server maintenance
• Windows PowerShell
• Information security
• Networking and network security
• Programming knowledge: .NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery
• Web development: HTML, CSS, SQL
• Familiarity with Office Suite (and possibly Microsoft Project)
• Verbal and written communication

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have good communication skills (verbally and written) and be able to communicate technical matters in layman's terms.
• Must have demonstrated experience in estimating future work and setting schedules
• Must have the ability to work remotely with proper discipline
• Good understanding of the different design patterns

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Translating business and technical requirements into technical solutions
• Preparing technical materials and documentation as needed
• Troubleshooting and debugging SharePoint sites
• Providing weekly schedule updates and overall project status as requested by the • client
• Coordinating and facilitating meetings as needed
• Support, configure and administer SharePoint service

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES:

• 3+ years supporting and managing the SharePoint environment
• 3+ years of experience in the hands-on development and delivery of SharePoint solutions and tools.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Technical, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer, Technology, or equivalent work experience.

LOCATION:San Mateo, CA (Onsite as needed/Remote)

TERM: Full-time (12-month assignment)

SALARY:$54 - $58.00 Hourly
