Senior Staff Accountant

Our North Bay Construction client is looking for Senior Staff Accountant to provide support with financial reporting and project-based accounting. Responsibilities:

• Perform project-based accounting activities, such as Job Costing, WIP, Expenses, and Revenues.
• Maintain project budgets and forecasts
• Prepare financial reports, includingbalance sheets, income statements, project profitability analysis, budget variance analysis, statements of cash flows, and statements of stockholders' equity.
• Reconcile subcontractor and vendor invoices
• Monitor Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivable, including billing discrepancies
• Ensure Construction Projects are in compliance with local regulations and project requirements
• Supervise payroll processing

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Accounting experience in the construction field or relevant industry
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred but not required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
