The Casecart Aide (Sterile Processing Tech) is responsible for performing all duties related to accurate and timely cleaning, inspection, assembly and sterilization of surgical, diagnostic & procedural instrumentation and equipment to meet customer and customer

Compensation and Benefits

Schedule

- Shift times 3pm to 11pm

- FTE: 80 hours

- Weekend requirements every other weekend

- No on call requirements

Requirements

- High school graduate or equivalent

- Instrument Room or Operating Room experience Preferred

- 1 year SPD and/or Case Cart experience in lieu of Sterile Processing Technician

- Previous Case Cart experience - Preferred

- Possess basic computer usage/skills, ability to delineate colors - Required

- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to perform manual decontamination, inspection, assembly and packaging methods for sterilization - Required

- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to operate automated SPD equipment - Required

- Knowledge of basic instruments, common medical abbreviations, and basic medical terminology - Required

- Minnesota license
