What does a Senior Risk & Assurance Managerat Collinson do

The holder will work closely with the Vice President and liaise with the leadership team of each business area and their risk champions ensuring that risk & control assessments are completed risks identified mitigating controls established and controls testing completed.

Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:

• To complete financial crime risk review
• To support implementation of AI risks improving the risk exposure
• Act as a point of conduct for all risk transfer matters relating to Insurance.
• To contribute to the embedding of a First Line Risk Management Framework ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with regulatory expectations and strategic ambition.
• Conduct comprehensive assurance activities to continually evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of the control environment.
• To implement an ISO 22301 BCM strategic programme
• Ensure strict adherence to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements including business continuity business conduct and thirdparty outsourcing.
• Using good personal skills adopt good working practices for risk and assurance and embed these within different areas of the business.
• Take responsibility for supplier oversight ensuring that external partners align with our risk management strategies and operational requirements.
• Support the business in designing and delivering comprehensive risk management training programs to cultivate a culture of risk awareness and best practices within the workforce.
• Provide support to the business with the overall compliance to PCI and Data Protection compliance.
• Work within the business to help identify areas for improvement in our risk and compliance processes and monitor progress and delivery.
• Develop and embed key risk indicators identifying emerging risk and preparing any mitigation or remediation plans for risks falling out of the company risk appetite.

Key skills and experience to be evidenced within your application include

• Experience working in a Risk Management role.
• Demonstrable experience and deep understanding of AI and Data risks
• Experience in Operational Resilience and Supplier Procurement.
• Experience delivering business continuity and resilience programmes including a good understanding of ISO 22301
• Excellent communication skills with experience of engaging across all levels of the business.
• Strong organisation and planning skills indicative of your ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• A proactive approach to supporting teams by understanding the broader organizational goals.
• Analytical and detailoriented mindset ensuring thorough assessment and management of risks.
• Experience of conducting Financial Crime risk assessments including Sanctions PEP checks Anti Bribery and Conflicts of Interest Anti Money Laundering and Internal fraud management procedures
• Qualified understanding of ISO 270001
• Qualified understanding of ISO9001
• Data Protection qualification desirable but not essential
