Job Description

  • Building client relationships by leveraging existing personal and professional networks to expand BLFC’s client base (organic and non-organic growth); and ensure balancing between generating business from existing customers and from new customers.
  • Communicating with clients (calls or meetings) and creating call reports detailing client needs to act as the point of reference for the request moving forward.
  • Ensuring efficient Customer Service standards and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing lessees; to guarantee customer retention for BLFC client base.
  • Discussing assigned credit cases with the Head of Credit and Head of Risk for the purpose of achieving a common view accepted by all parties.
  • Reviewing the mandate (offer) containing initial terms, conditions, service requested, industry information, and all standard required data/ documents to be provided to the client to secure signature.
  • Ensuring the client completes all the lease/ factoring required documents and needed signatures for KYC forms and the authorization for investigation requests.
  • Coordinating between the client and the investigation team to facilitate the investigation process.
  • Liaising between the client and the credit team; to ensure responding to credit team inquiries when conducting the credit assessment / financial analysis of the client.
  • Liaising with key operational functions to ensure client service delivery to agreed benchmarks and ensuring that all approved limits are being utilized within the agreed-upon drawdown period.
  • Meeting with the risk team to discuss and agree on the case structure after reviewing all client files to secure final approval.
  • Interacting with the legal department to ensure all issues in that regard are facilitated from the marketing side.
  • Following up on the operations team who are now managing the client relationship and beginning the evaluation process, to ensure smooth operations, and extend support if needed.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions, and finally securing the deal with the client’s signature of the contract and ensuring a complete match with the terms of payment.
  • Following up with the client regarding the payment to ensure a smooth and timely collection process and avoid delays.
  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with all customers, to ensure there are no cases of delinquencies or delays in installment payments, etc.; to safeguard Beltone’s interest.
  • Making sure that all customers’ queries are well-investigated and resolved, and escalating queries if appropriate to Head of Business / CEO, to ensure appropriate handling of cases.
  • Adhering and complying with the internal policies and procedures, also ensuring that every transaction is valid and in line with government policy.
