Senior Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design
• Perform all aspects of verification and validation in all testing phases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test activities
• Identify, record, document and track bugs as well as reporting and documenting technical issues
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for complete software solutions.
• Develop and execute different manual and automated testing to ensure product is up to the standards of quality.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection and testing.
• Measure the quality of products using a pre-defined set of criteria.
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Continuously inspect and improve our test automation process by researching and introducing new state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
• Participate in documents preparation when required (e.g. training materials)
• Mentors a peer and reports feedback to the lead or manager.

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience in software development
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in a Waterfall and Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM
