Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the product and development team to define the best approach for shaping tests.
• Ensure the smooth running of the QA department and ultimately customer satisfaction.
• Help to define the scope of new functionalities (Functional Requirements / User Stories).
• Support the team in building a cohesive and quality solution by conducting thorough manual testing (functional testing, regression testing, integration testing).
• Creation of test design based on functional requirements.
• Reporting and monitoring the defect life cycle, using defect management tool: JIRA.
• Test software on PC, Mac, and Mobile devices (Android and iOS).
• Functional Tests Execution (System and End To End Testing).
• Generate and analyze test reports and coordinate of testing efforts with other teams.
• Estimation, prioritization, planning of testing activities.
• System configuration and preparation of test data sets.
• Troubleshooting of issues reported by users.

Documentation of the processes.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of Manual/Functional QA experience.
• ISTQB Intermediate/ advanced level certification.
• Detailed understanding of test methods such as UI, regression, integration, load, usability, compatibility,and similar applications.
• Experience testing in multi-platform devices.
• Knowledge of agile development practices (XP, Kanban, Scrum).
• Logical reasoning or programming background.
• Passion for eliminating redundancies using automation.
• Strong knowledge around Docker, Kubernetes, Mesosphere will put you on edge.
• Good to have AWS Solution Architect Professional certification.
• Enjoys a strong work ethic, professionalism, and ownership towards tasks.
• Enjoys strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage projects and deadlines.
• Demonstrate leadership skills, attention to details, through an enthusiastic approach.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Proficiency command of English communication (oral and written).
