Tasks

Wonder Grip is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to oversee our procurement processes and ensure the efficient sourcing purchasing and delivery of goods and services. The Senior Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing costs managing supplier relationships and maintaining inventory levels to support Wonder Grips operations and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support Wonder Grips objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and establish partnerships to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor market trends supplier performance and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including supply chain finance and operations teams to understand requirements prioritize needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams to assess supplier capabilities conduct supplier audits and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery including vendor selection purchase order processing and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Implement and maintain procurement systems and tools to streamline processes improve efficiency and enhance visibility into procurement activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations policies and procedures including ethical sourcing practices supplier diversity initiatives and environmental sustainability

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CSCP CPSM CIPS) preferred.
  • years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain management with a track record of success in driving cost savings improving supplier performance and implementing best practices.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools such as ERP systems eprocurement platforms and spend analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities including the ability to lead crossfunctional teams manage projects and drive results in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as contract law import/export regulations and ISO standards preferred.
