Senior PHP Developer - Remote

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to resolve critical issues such as bug fixes, cross-browser compatibility inconsistencies, etc.
• Troubleshoot and maintain an existing portfolio of websites with Front-End and Back-End support.
• Maintain and develop features for several custom applications.
• Learn and manage content using our proprietary systems.
• Producing code to a high standard for both front and back-end ensuring efficiency, reusability, and reliability.

The skills we`re looking for:

• Degree level qualification in Computer Science, IT, or Information Systems.
• Familiar and comfortable working with the LAMP stack.
• 3+ Years’ PHP experience.
• Experience in a Full Stack role.
• Advanced working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, & JSON.
• Experience using GIT version control (or a similar version control system).
• Experience with jQuery (or a similar framework).
• Understanding of the entire web development process, including front-end and back-end development.
• Familiarity, understanding, and experience working with REST APIs.
• Experience balancing short-term vs.long-term needs, business needs, and customer needs.
• Familiarity with security best practices is a bonus.
• Additional exposure to other backend programming languages will be beneficial.
• An eye for UI/UX best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills
