Design one day value chain brainstorming event to discuss market current updates including; challenges, and opportunities to expand market growth.

• Update and contact an introductory market overview. This should include market sizing, market growth and potential, stakeholder mapping among all governorates of Egypt with a focus on Upper Egypt & Delta regions, competitive market analysis, barriers to entry and limitations. That include both international and Egypt.
• Lead the conduct of value chain mapping and analysis of the packaging waste in Egypt.
• Identify current startups & MSMEs operating in the value chain. The mapping must include packaging waste enterprises that are serving a wide range of industries, the active BDS (Business Development Services) centers that are providing services to this VC. In addition to the current active incubators and accelerators supporting this VC.
• Report the modality of private and public sector interactions within the VC.
• Focus the research on the potential and challenges facing youth and women within this specific VC.
• Design and develop mapping tools, survey or interview questionnaires and data collection procedures (e.g., focus group discussions, key informant interviews, survey, etc.) in consultation with relevant experts including those from relevant entities in private sector or governmental sector.
• Map and assess available access to innovation, registration and certification, testing and accreditation, potential investments and access to potential export markets in the region and adjacent areas and provide appropriate and actionable recommendations.
