Job Description

- Identify non value-added activity and leverage SMS tools to improve the ways of working
- Perform observations of tasks and processes on the shop floor to identify and evaluate value- added time versus non value-added time
- Communicate with all levels of the organization to share and verify data collected to ensure buy-in and action needed
- Synthesize data and prepare presentations (PowerPoint and Excel) that are easily understandable
- Assist in the establishment of KPIs and performance standards
- Assist functional teams in identification of improvement opportunities ensuring alignment with site/function strategy
- Propose initiatives that support the troubleshooting and debottlenecking of process flows related to equipment
- Act as the driving force in conducting transversal workshops to disseminate the lean expertise methodology (e.g. 5S, GPS, SMED, TPM, VSM/Lean Pull Flows)
- The ability to work autonomously
