Join the dynamic Legal team at Destinus where youll play a crucial role in guiding the legal and compliance strategies of our European operations across France Spain and Germany. Destinus is at the forefront of pioneering autonomous flight systems and we seek an adept Senior Legal Counsel with a profound understanding of French and EU legal frameworks to ensure our innovative pursuits comply with all statutory mandates.

Tasks

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a variety of commercial law issues to our business and R&D teams throughout Destinuss EU locations.
• Offer robust support in corporate law aiding in the strategic legal direction and corporate governance of the company.
• Manage licensing trade law and export compliance matters ensuring Destinus adheres to all relevant regulations.
• Take charge of contract management processes including review drafting and negotiation safeguarding the companys interests.
• Lead the administration and integration of LegalTech tools to enhance our legal operations including digital shareholder registries esignature platforms and KYC processes.
• Coordinate effectively with external legal counsel to bolster our legal strategies and address complex legal issues.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of legal practice with significant experience in French Spanish or German law ideally within the EU context. Additional experience in international law will be highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues communicate effectively with various stakeholders and negotiate strategic agreements.
• Proven track record of successful collaboration in a multidisciplinary team adept at navigating the fastpaced and evolving environment of a startup.
• Proficiency in English is essential as it is the working language within Destinus.
• Previous experience in the aerospace sector or other highly regulated industries will be considered an asset providing valuable insights into industryspecific challenges.
