Senior Information & Network Security Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
• Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Manage, Administrate, Configure and support most of the following solutions:
• Manage, Configure, troubleshoot, and administrate other Security Products and technologies
• Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
• Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Secure the internal Network, DMZ, and Published servers
• Implement DLP solution
• Define rules and Policies to be applied to all departments to meet the security standards.
• Work with all Departments to define security protocols and to secure all IT systems.
• Periodic security assessment and penetration testing on published servers hosted in the Datacenter and Online services hosted outside the DC or DR.
• Configure Windows and Linux host-based security as well as network and cloud-based security systems.
• Supervise, Monitor, Implement, install and configure security appliances and applications.
• Monitor and respond to Security appliance alerts, warnings, and logs.
• Prepare detailed technical reports including vulnerability assessment findings, outcomes, and needed actions for further system security enhancement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Communication Engineering or Computer Science or relevant field.
• A Master’s level qualification in Information Management or a related field is a plus.
• Min Five years of relevant work experience.
• Hands on Technical Project Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Information and network security technologies, offensive and cybersecurity standards and technologies
• Experience with NW and information Security tools
• Experience with ISO27001 guidelines
• Good communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Excellent working level English Skills
