Senior Engineering Consultant

Mission:

You will be responsible for managing and executing engineering projects with a focus on full design and implementation initiatives for distribution sites and production centres for our clients. Responsibilities include managing client relationships suppliers and third companies leading the execution of the projects from start to finish and providing eventually experience and guidance to teams of consultants supporting the development of the projects. You will generally work on high profile projects often including international scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

1. Handson facility design and implementation.

1. Work directly with clients to understand business requirements of the organization identify data requirements and formulate technical solutions.

1. Identify opportunities for improvement solution alternatives including automation and calculate benefits.

1. Develop innovative solutions leveraging internal tools knowledge and international expertise.

1. Facilitate sourcing of logistics services and material handling equipment.

1. Deliver project management through implementation and facilitate the supplier relationships.

Project Management:

1. Analyse and document project objectives deliverables requirements approach and timelines.

1. Coordinate tasks for teams of varying sizes to ensure timely execution of deliverables.

1. Mentor project team to drive crossfunctional collaboration coach your colleagues and help them grow their careers.

1. Manage project contract requirements and ensure project budget is inline with expectations.

1. Manage customer representatives as well as supplier representatives ensure communication and successful collaboration.

Business Development & Customer Relationship Management:

1. Develop close working relationship with clients through outstanding project execution and communication.

1. Develop responses and proposals to RFPs appropriate to a customers needs.

1. Support in the further development of our people and our services.

People Development:

1. Mentor project team members to drive crossfunctional collaboration coaching colleagues and helping them grow their in their careers.

What we need from you:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management or Logistics and a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering supply chain industry experience is required.
• 37 years of relevant Supply Chain Engineering Consulting or Logistic integrator experience. Knowledge and expertise in the areas of warehouse automation distribution centre design production logistics tendering implementation and golive.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills in the English language strong problem solving and project management skills.
• Team player with ability to work in cross functional and multinational teams.
• Advanced skill with MS Office suite especially PowerBI Excel Access and PowerPoint.
• Interpersonal communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
• Desirable: consulting experience experience working crossfunctionally among the entire supply chain AutoCAD experience or additional languages (besides English).
