Job Description
Are you an experienced DevSecOps professional passionate about driving software deployments and implementing automation methodologies? We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Deployment Release Manager for a large retailer.
In this role, you can incorporate Azure DevOps Automation Methodology across all software deployments with multiple vendors. This position requires previous experience in large-scale company-wide transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Azure DevOps Automation Methodology implementation across all software deployments within our organization.
- Collaborate with software vendors to ensure the successful integration and adoption of DevSecOps practices.
- Develop and maintain deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient and secure software releases.
- Drive the continuous improvement of deployment processes through automation, monitoring, and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the best software deployment and release management practices.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on deployment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in DevSecOps and apply relevant knowledge to enhance our deployment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in implementing Azure DevOps Automation Methodology in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, with deployment and release management expertise.
- Experience working with multiple software vendors and effectively managing vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in utilizing DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve deployment-related issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in leading company-wide transformation projects is highly desirable.
