Senior DevOps Engineer

Project Description:
In this role youll be joining our Azure Engineering team within Cloud Productivity &Engineering (CPE) as an Senior Azure DevOps Engineer reporting directly to the Directorfor Azure Engineering.

This team focuses on building developing and supporting our Azure cloud platform toaccelerate the timetomarket of innovative finance products. In collaboration withMicrosoft we aim to transform how company leverages the cloud platform:

Engage in designing developing and building complex cloud services and capabilities.
Work alongside architects developers and other engineers to ensure efficient AzureProduct engineering.
Active involvement in decision making areas such as networking virtualization identitysecurity business continuity disaster recovery and governance.

Skills required:
5 plus years experience in designing developing and implementing cloud and hybridAzure Platform solutions.
Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up Microsoft Cloud Products and hands onexperience with Microsofts Cloud Adoption Framework.
Prior experience in roles such as Azure engineering development or AzurefocusedDevSecOps.
Familiarity with Azure cloud native components and products.
3 years demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Azure DevOps andGitlab.
Excellent planning and communications skills and able to lead conversations withdevelopment and product teams.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related STEM degree.
Knowledge of following technology stack: Microsoft Azure Active Directory MicrosoftAzure Service Fabric Microsoft Azure Networking Microsoft Azure Cloud PlatformHashiCorp Terraform.

Nice To Have:
Certificates like: AZ104 AZ204 AZ400.
Proven track record working in agile environments.
3 years hands on experience with Azure products and services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).

Proactive incident management with Azurebased troubleshooting.
Sound understanding of financial markets.

Responsibilities:
Understands the vision and strategy and articulates it to the community of practice leadsand teams; the why the business case context benefits any constraints etc.
Defines key features and platform enhancements needed to keep pace with businessdemand and own the product backlog.
Lead key strategic projects/initiatives to meet strategic outcomes and enable operationalexcellence.
Ensure feedback and learnings are obtained and utilized as early and often as possible.
Engineer and optimize hybrid Azure Platform solutions focusing on but not limited tocompute network storage monitoring security and automation.
Collaborate with Lead Platform Engineering Managers architects and other stakeholdersin the implementation and future development of Azure Landing Zone platform.
Provide expertise in IT operations areas such as networking virtualization identitysecurity and governance ensuring these areas align with the overall Azure Platformstrategy.
