- Role Overview:As a Senior DevOps Engineer within our Cloud Management Platform (CMP) team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing intricate DevOps workflows for a key client. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of leading tools, designing and building Kubernetes infrastructure, and automating the entire process.Responsibilities:Examine Technical Prerequisites: Assess technical requirements for Kubernetes deployments among prospective clients.
- Develop and Deploy Kubernetes Solutions: Tailor and deploy Kubernetes solutions to meet specific customer demands.
- Microservices Deployment: Lead the deployment and day-to-day functioning of Microservices solutions.
- Active Support and Management: Provide active support and management for customer environments, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
- DevOps Tools Integration: Ensure the seamless integration of DevOps tools, optimizing processes for efficiency.
- CMP Infrastructure Optimization: Oversee and optimize the CMP infrastructure, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate across teams, providing expert insights for issue resolution and enhancing deployment strategies.
- Role Requirements:Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with OpenStack or VMware.
- Private Cloud: Experience in private cloud environments (not public).
- DevOps Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a DevOps position.
- Kubernetes Proficiency: Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, showcasing extensive expertise.
- Container Orchestration Platforms: Demonstrates familiarity with various container orchestration platforms, highlighting a versatile skill set.
- Linux Administration: Experience in Linux system administration, covering distributions like RHEL and Ubuntu.
- Automation Skills: Strong automation skills with Terraform and Ansible.
- Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Bash.
- DevOps Tools Management: Expertise in managing and integrating DevOps tools, including GitLab, CircleCI, and SonarQube.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Technical Concepts Communication: Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to new technologies.
- Skills Nice-to-Have:Cloud Services Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cloud services and platforms, such as OpenStack and VMware.
