Our team is looking to bring on experienced Data Engineers for a largescale data migration project. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines collaborating with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and ensuring data quality and accuracy. You will also optimize existing processes monitor system performance and ensure data security and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines data models and ETL processes to support BI Analytics and reporting needs.
- Design and design programs for data migration focusing on data quality and mapping processes.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple sources making sure the information is accurate and of high quality.
- Improve the performance and reliability of existing data pipelines and processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems being proactive in identifying and resolving any issues.
- Review and optimize SQL scripts based on business requirements and data specifications.
- Review reconciliation jobs and monitor their performance.
Requirements
- 5 years of handson experience in data engineering and performance tuning
- Strong proficiency in MS SQL server and experience with relational databases
- Proficiency in PowerShell is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English and Chinese is a must.
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and performance tuning Strong proficiency in MS SQL server and experience with relational databases Proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell scripting is a plus Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail
