Senior Data Engineer Banking Project 80k

A renowned Multinational Bank is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their team. In this critical role you will have the opportunity to contribute to a largescale data migration project that will have a profound impact on their organization. As they migrate from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Microsoft Dynamics 365 you will work closely with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to analyze design and implement data migration strategies. Your expertise in utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory Databricks SQL Server will be instrumental in driving the success of this project.

By joining their team you will be at the forefront of their data migration initiative applying your skills in data management data cleansing ETL (Extract Transform Load) and data transformation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Additionally you will play a key role in ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration process by designing and implementing data cleansing procedures.

Responsibilities:

• You will lead and implement a comprehensive data management strategy including data transformation data migration and quality assurance activities.
  
• Design and develop efficient data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes tailored specifically for seamless data migration.
  
• Conduct thorough data mapping and transformation activities aligning data structures formats and semantics across diverse systems and databases.
  
• Optimize the performance of data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure swift and seamless data migration minimizing and disruption to business operations.
  
• Work closely with the Head of Program to identify and implement data quality measures and establish data governance practices
  
• Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for data management ensuring that the project adheres to industry standards
  

Requirements

• Min. 7 years experience as a Data Engineer.
  
• Proven experience in using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  
• Proven experience in Data Cleansing ETL Development and Data Transformation
  
• Proven experience in performance optimization techniques for data pipelines and ETL processes.
  
• Experience with Business Applications and ERP systems are nice to have.
  
• Strong Analytical and ProblemSolving skills
  
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills
