We're looking for a Senior Clojure Developer to join a leading tax solution company for an initial 12-month contract.
This is a fully remote position open in Europe.
Tasks
About the role
As the Software Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing user requirements. write and test code, refining and rewriting it as necessary and communicate with any programmers involved in the project. You will report to the CTO.
What you'll be doing
- Overview the general architecture of the solution (Clojure, AWS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
- Write elegant code for RESTful API endpoints(Clojure, PostgreSQL/DynamoDB),Web apps (Reagent, ClojureScript, AngularJS) and Backend functionalities (Clojure)
- Perform code reviews
- Build unit tests for functionalities implemented (Clojure/Midje)
Requirements
About you
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineer working with any of the following technologies: Clojure, Java, Python, GO, Scala, or Node.js
- Experience with Angular or React
