Responsibilities of this Post:

Inspecting cars for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after

Careful and cautious driving of

Management of petrol card and vehicle

Abiding by the rules of road and being responsible for any/all traffic fines

Completing and maintaining an accurate vehicle log

Submitting written reports on the condition of the vehicle(s) each

Ensuring vehicle is well maintained, is kept clean and receives regular

Reporting any problems with vehicle(s) and ensuring it is

Ensuring car is safely parked at office premises overnight and is locked and

Requirements of this Post:

Two to three years of driving

Valid SA Code 8 or 10 drivers license

Good Vehicle maintenance

Good interpersonal

Ability to take responsibility and

Ability to work within a

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Logistics Department requires a Driver who will be responsible for driving a Tasks include, amongst others:

Be responsible for the

Inspection of the vehicle and to report all

Loading and off-loading of various products

Handle documentation

Ensuring cleanliness of vehicle both internally and externally

Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act

Ensure the safety of other road users

Abide by the regulations as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies and the regulations of the

Navigate your way around Gauteng area and once and a while do a long-distance trip

Requirements

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

A Grade 12 certificate

Valid, unendorsed license with valid PDP

License 2 years and older

3 years of driving experience

A hands-on and practical approach to the job

Must have at least 2 contactable references

QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES

Effective communication skills verbal and written

Neat and well-groomed (PPE must be clean and worn at all times)

Time management and organisational skills

Display a professional work approach

Excellent state of health

Hard-working and self-motivated

Warehouse support by picking and packing of orders on days where there are no deliveries
