Senior Application Manager

Responsibilities:

You will work as part of a crossfunctional agile operational team. You will bring an innovative approach to software development focusing on using the latest technologies and practices as part of a relentless focus on business value. You will be ready to contribute to all stages of software delivery from initial analysis right through to production support. Our goal is to design and develop highquality automation solutions to solve business problems/challenges via a combination of offtheshelf and opensource technologies. Youll get the chance to work with experienced engineers across our enterprise with a chance to move across varying automation technologies of the future.

Below are some of your daytoday responsibilities:

Perform 3rd level support for RPA infrastructure

Technical monitoring for Robotic servers

Implementing deployments and configuration changes

Migrating the application instances to different BluePrism versions

Ordering configuration and activation of the new Microsoft Windows servers and robots

Creation of new application instances

Support further development by ensuring the availability and stability of all relevant environment stages (INT UAT PROD)

Investigate technical service incidents on Robotics infrastructure e.g. if all technical services are up and running on the servers

Investigation of functional incidents e.g. unsuccessful scripts causing termination

Investigation of incidents resulting from changes made on applications which are operated by robot (e.g. changed screen layouts changed access rights changed functions)

Using a DevOps approach by setting up monitoring configuring deploymentautomation tools preparing software packages raising and implementing changes as well as managing certificates and software licenses (working with Bitbucket Teamcity Artifactory UCD Jira)

Finding and developing solutions for automation (dbRun Powershell and TSQL scripts database jobs)

Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence) Actively participate in the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily standup/scrum meeting Sprint planning retrospectives etc.

Manage individual task priorities and deliverables.

Skills required:

3 years of 3rd level support experience

Strong understanding of RPA concepts methodologies and best practices

Proficiency in Blue Prism development including process design automation development and configuration

Blue Prism certification(s) preferred

Strong experience in building automation scripts using Powershell and Red Hat Ansible

Experience in administering Windows server and Microsoft SQL Server databases

Experience in SQL scripting

Familiarity with databases like MySQL Oracle SQL Server NoSQL etc.

The proven ability to understand and to apply SOLID principles follow OOPs and utilize design patterns to solve complex problems.

An experimental and creative mindset and you relish the opportunity to try new things.

Strong communication skills and Experience working in an Agile team.

Exposure and knowledge to technologies such as Bitbucket TeamCity Artifactory Java is an added advantage to RPA application support

Experience in setup maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure as a part of Devops.
