As part of our innovative Android team, you will:

• Take the world s most used pet GPS tracking app to the next level
• Create and implement features to keep cats and dogs worldwide safe, happy and healthy
• Work with cutting-edge Android frameworks and prototype future apps
• Collaborate with designers, developers and other teams to perfect the product
• Create an app architecture that makes testing and maintenance a breeze
• Optimize with automated testing
• Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you ll never hear the phrase ...because that s how we ve always done things
• Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Requirements

Your profile

Key requirements:

• 5+ years experience developing apps or projects for Android devices
• Very good Kotlin skills
• Ideally, experience with React Native and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Experience developing apps with state-of-the art architecture (e.g. MVVM, Compose)
• Practical knowledge creating a build pipeline with Jenkins, CircleCI or other platforms, including testing, screenshot generation and deployment
• Dependency injection, instrumentation tests, and unit test know-how
• Very good English skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and technologies
• Valid Austrian work permit

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at 54,000 full-time - at Tractive that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
