Position: Security Guard

Overview: Our client is seeking vigilant and proactive Security Guards to join their team. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for clients premises employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patrol assigned areas regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors windows and gates.
   
2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
   
3. Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
   
4. Provide assistance to employees visitors and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
   
5. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
   
6. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
   
7. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises if necessary.
   
8. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
   
9. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
   
10. Ensure the security safety and wellbeing of all personnel visitors and the premises.
    
11. Perform first aid or CPR if required and report any medical emergencies to the appropriate authorities.
    

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role.
  
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
  
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
  
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
  
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle emergency situations.
  
• Integrity and professionalism.
  
• Valid Security Guard License.
