Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Salesforce Functional Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in leveraging Salesforce Marketing Clouds capabilities to create impactful marketing strategies and campaigns. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and the ability to translate marketing objectives into effective Salesforce solutions.
Depending on the specific role as a Functional Salesforce Marketing Cloud consultant this is what you ll typically do:
Marketing Cloud Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Guide and advise on best practices for implementing configuring and customizing Marketing Cloud to meet business goals.
Business Requirements Analysis: Work closely with marketing teams and other stakeholders to understand their marketing objectives and challenges. Translate these needs into functional and practical Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
Salesforce Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Marketing Cloud including Journey Builder Email Studio Social Studio and other components to align with marketing strategies and campaign requirements.
Campaign Management and Execution: Assist in the design and execution of marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Ensure campaigns are effectively targeted and executed for maximum engagement and ROI.
Data Management and Analytics: Manage customer data within Marketing Cloud ensuring data integrity and compliance. Leverage data analytics to provide insights into campaign performance and customer behavior.
User Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for Marketing Cloud users. Provide ongoing support to ensure users are maximizing the platforms capabilities.
Solution Design and Implementation: Design solutions that utilize Marketing Cloud functionality to improve marketing operations and customer engagement. Ensure solutions are scalable and sustainable.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of Marketing Cloud configurations and campaign setups to ensure they meet business objectives and are free from defects.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and marketing stakeholders ensuring clear communication of requirements timelines and deliverables.
Documentation and Best Practices: Document all configurations customizations and campaign processes. Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionalities recommending improvements as appropriate.
Job requirements
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including configuration and campaign management.
Indepth understanding of digital marketing strategies and CRM practices.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is highly preferred.
