Job Description

  • Executing pre-planned activities according to segment strategy, creating, developing, implementing and communicating a clear specific market-based strategy, building long-term sustainable customer relationships, without losing any short-term business, identifying white spot markets and initiates improvements in actions plan
  • Developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the customer’s business model, past purchasing behavior and organization, including decision makers, customer business drivers, economic trends, and competition trend
  • Gathering and analyzing the information regarding allocated segment (e.g. market share, competitors, pricing levels) to anticipate the evolution and future trends of the specific segment, introduce ABB products to the consultants / customers and develop new markets
  • Supporting business development by identifying and creating new business opportunities, planning and executing promotional activities, such as technical seminars, in-house presentations, product demos and therefore educating customers and partners effectively
  • Implementing the best way of creating the request or need of the product/solutions in the market, to be an ‘out-of-the-box, identifying the segment customers who could be potential buyers, by understanding the segment needs (knowing the customers visions, strategy and processes) in order to create value for the end customer
