We are looking for sales talent with a minimum of 3 years experience within the technical/engineering space.
Lifting/hoisting equipment would be an added advantage.
Proven sales-based business travel within Africa.
Key Responsibilities
To achieve revenue and margin budgets in a defined geographical region.
To analyse customer purchases (past and present) in order to create and implement effective sales strategies.
To identify and grow new customers and regain inactive customers.
To fully understand the branch/area customer dynamics and to work with customers in creating long term relationships and brand support.
To effectively communicate new products and solutions into the market.
To gain and provide the Company with market intelligence.
Effective and accurate reporting in line with business requirements.
Visit customers on site to do sales and/or inspections and inspection reports
Work with all department managers to ensure a customer centric organization.
Requirements
- Proven sales record - looking for sales/business hunter
- Valid passport for international travel (within Africa)
- Excellent English (speak, write and read), other language fluency beneficial.
- Full computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision to meet sales targets, as well as within a team.
- Professional interpersonal & communication skills.
- Experience in ERP systems similar to Syspro, SAP etc.
- Sound business and financial skills
- Market intelligence analysis and interpretation skills
- Good administrative skills and time management skill
