We are looking for a Rubyon Rails Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You ll be part of a cross-functional team that s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.This is a remote position, but you must be in Panama or Colombia.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Helping with the design and development of software
  
• Testing and debugging software to keep it optimized
  
• Writing clean code for the front and back end of the software
  
• Designing user interactions on the web application itself
  
• Creating servers and databases for the back end of the software
  
• Ensuring cross-platform compatibility and optimization
  
• Testing and maintaining the responsive design of applications
  
• Working with graphic designers to design new features
  
• Developing APIs and RESTful services
  
• Keeping up with technological advances to optimize their software
  
• Communicating effectiveness of emerging technologies to decision makers
  
• Considering security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing
  

Requirements

General

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  
• Degree in Computer Science orrelevant field isa plus
  
• English knowledge is a required
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• An analytical mind
  

Technical

• Proficient in building Ruby on Rails applications with demonstrable professional experience
  
• Experience with Rails 6.1, Hotwire, Stimulus, Turbo, and RSpec is required
  
• Significant experience with OOP, MVC, and ActiveRecord
  
• Familiarity with Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus for Ruby on Rails is a plus
  
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL a plus
  
• Proficient on software versioning (Git, SVN)
  
• Familiarity with containerization technology (Docker)
  
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
