Position: UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Project Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Exp: 10 years

Job Summary:

The UKG Project Manager works closely with teammates to ensure the maximum value of our clients workforce management investment in achieved by overseeing coordinating and participating in all phases of the business project. The UKG Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of the identified project or portion of a project which includes leading both internal and customer resources to meet the established implementation milestones targeted completion dates and keeping the project within scope and within budget. It is expected that the UKG Project Manager is capable of managing multiple simultaneous engagements in complex customer environments (i.e. multiple regions countries locations substantial infrastructure challenges etc.)

The selected individual will be expected to provide overall coordination implementation execution control and completion of client projects within the Accentures UKG practice. An effective candidate must be a selfstarter willing to work closely with the existing project management and consulting team including the ability to learn through mentorship and onthejob training as well as selfstudy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as Project Manager for UKG Pro Implementations and Migrations
  • Partner with the client and lead them through their implementation journey as a trusted advisor
  • Meaningfully engage and manage all stakeholders both internal and external
  • Develop implementation strategy including a phased approach where appropriate
  • Collaborate with other project managers including client internal PMs and external partner PMs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop an achievable project plan
  • Proactively anticipate project risk and develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain a strong project governance plan
  • Lead inspire and motivate the project team to achieve project goals
  • Work closely with UKG Pro and UKG WFM teams for joint UKG Pro implementations
  • Work within the established Business Applications project management methodology and toolset within the Business Applications practice
  • Setup project plans and tasks in project management and billing systems
  • Work with the Business Applications Project Management Office and practice Resource Manager to assign resources to tasks including forecasting utilization in advance
  • Lead the process of issue identification and resolution throughout the project lifecycle
  • Discuss and document project status weekly with project team members and key stakeholders
  • Identify and communicate challenges and/or changes within scope schedule or budget
  • Manage budgets including monitoring of estimate to complete and other key metrics
  • Facilitate internal and externalfacing meetings to ensure completion of agenda items in a timely manner
  • Keep all project information accurate in the Project Management system of record
  • Manage documentation collection and retention in accordance with firm compliance policy
  • Foster relationships between clients and the RSM team
  • Identify areas of crossfunctional collaboration.

Required Skills and Experience include:

  • 5 or more years of UKG Pro WFM project management experience
  • Experience with UKG Pro implementation methodology and process
  • A history of managing multiple projects(especially global clients) at once and meeting multiple deliverables
  • Proven success managing complex projects with crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Ability to confidently identify and manage project risk
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to engage clients and vendors effectively during implementations
  • UKG implementation and PM certifications preferred.
  • Experience with UKG WFC to UKG Pro WFM migration experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks across various projects in an efficient and highquality manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate within the internal team and with clients through email instant messaging systems project management systems web conferencing and in person.
  • Ability to work well with a virtualbased team in a fastpaced environment including the ability to provide guidance and direction in multiple delivery formats.
  • Willingness to ask questions research new skills and technologies and crosstrain as requested.
  • Experience speaking and communicating information to a large or small audience.
  • Keen sense of details and ability to be proactive to reduce risks or issues.
  • Demonstrated success using enterprise project management software and project planning tools (e.g. Smartsheet Microsoft Project Jira etc.).
Must possess a high degree of integrity and ability to adhere to both firm policies and best practices
