About Us
Modular.Farm is the first and only sensor-, AI- & mobile app controlled, closed-cycle, self-powering, self-regulating & self-sustaining, mobile, and extendable container farm, that enables everyone to produce +100k $ p.a. worth of locally grown fresh and healthy food.
By 2050, the global population is set to set to exceed 10 billion people. The challenge of producing enough healthy food for everyone in a sustainable, economical and efficient way is of rising significance. Our long-term food security is threatened by climate change, pollution and a decreased supply of arable land. The long-distance shipping of unripe fruits, as well as pesticides, chemicals, antibiotics or other additives put our health at risk.
The solution to all these problems is an enclosed ecosystem based on single compatible modules, that sheds the restrictions of seasonal weather patterns, overcomes transportation challenges and disadvantages, and by combining proven systems like vertical farms, hydroponics, aquaponics, etc. significantly enhances yields and thus heralds the future of the global food production.
About You
Are you passionate about new technolgies, healthy food, fighting world hunger and climate change? Do you have excellent communication skills and are you an organisational talent to support relationship management? Are you a self-starter who is able to deliver on-demand support and organize services? Then we're looking for you!
About the Role
Wed like to be as close as possible to our customers. For this reason were relying on on-demand remote area managers to look after them, to provide support if needed, to organize professional repairs if needed, as well as to contribute to our growth.
Main Responsibilities
Provide on-demand support. If you dont find the answer to a question on our homepage, just ask our global support team.
Organize on-demand professional repairs due to our quality management this should almost never happen.
If there was a complaint against a single modular farmer offering his produce on our marketplace, you have to enforce and supervise some quality management. This should also be a very rare case since we can assume that our farmers will do anything to not risk exclusion from the marketplace.
Optional: Since you will most probably want to increase your commissions, youre free to help spread the word, do some local marketing, contact local newspapers and radio stations, host or be a speaker at events, etc.
