Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in leading and directing the sales team to achieve regional sales goals and objectives within the assigned territory. This position is vital to the organization as it involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and achieve revenue growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets
  • Lead coach and mentor the sales team to drive performance and achieve KPIs
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to expand the customer base
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Analyze sales data and trends to develop effective sales strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support sales initiatives
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the sales team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the companys products and services

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales or related field
  • Proven experience in sales management preferably in a regional capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles methods practices and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
  • Ability to analyze sales data and interpret market trends
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
