The role:

The Receptionist role is primarily responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. This entails answering calls and fielding them, accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs, and providing an overall welcoming environment. This includes ad hoc administrative duties as needed in the business.

This is a Part-time position with the schedule being Monday & Tuesday 08:00 -17:00.

You will be working with colleagues of all levels across the company to field calls, coordinating visitors to the building, including members of the public, contractors, site visitors and off-site Fugro staff.

As a receptionist, your duties include:

  • Staffing the reception area, welcoming visitors, and managing guest security passes.
  • Receive incoming deliveries and post for the building and advise appropriate colleagues of their arrival.
  • Photocopying, laminating and general admin duties.
  • Troubleshoot and dealing with general enquiries.
  • Always representing Fugro in a professional manner.
  • Managing and booking meeting rooms and managing the booking system.

Who we're looking for:

This role is ideal for someone with excellent Communication skills both written and verbal, prior Receptionist experience or a background in Administration is essential to this role.

Excellent telephone manner, strong Microsoft Office skills and having a good attention to detail is key. A previous experience in operating a switchboard is desirable.
