Mission:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced R&D Engineer to join our team in Sant Jaume de Llierca (Girona). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of experience in product development. You will be responsible for the development of new products related to swimming pools using your skills in design analysis and prototyping.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop new products from concept to industrialization

• Responsible of performance quality validation and cost of new products

• Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and drawings

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to bring products to market

• Conduct laboratory and field tests to validate designs

• Creation and monitoring of schedules in collaboration with Program Manager Office

• Creation and monitoring of quality KPIs FMEA and DVT in collaboration with Quality Department

• Technical support for industrialization activity.

To succeed in this role youll need a positive attitude and the following:

• Masters degree in mechanical or industrial design engineering

• Proved experience on plastic part design and plastics injection molding

• 5 years of experience in research and development departments

• Strong understanding of mechanical design and analysis

• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software

• Knowledge of sealing and submerged or pressurized products is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in Spanish and English

• Passion for excellence and enduser focus about usability and ergonomics
