Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join our dynamic cybersecurity team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough security assessments of our information systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures for mitigation. The role requires indepth knowledge of penetration testing methodologies tools and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Penetration Testing:
  • Conduct penetration tests on web applications networks and systems to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to simulate realworld cyberattacks.

Vulnerability Assessment:
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities in information systems through regular scanning and testing.
  • Provide detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities their severity and recommended remediation steps.

Security Exploitation:
  • Simulate cyberattacks to exploit identified vulnerabilities and assess the impact on the organizations security posture.
  • Collaborate with system owners to validate and address security findings.

Social Engineering Testing:
  • Conduct social engineering tests to assess the effectiveness of security awareness training.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance employee awareness and resilience against social engineering attacks.

Report Generation:
  • Prepare detailed and comprehensive penetration testing reports.
  • Clearly articulate findings risks and recommended remediation steps to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Collaboration with IT and Security Teams:
  • Work closely with IT and security teams to validate and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on secure coding practices and configurations.

Research and Development:
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a related field.
  • 56 years of handson experience in penetration testing.
  • Certifications such as OSCP CEH or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of common security frameworks and standards.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in using penetration testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python Bash).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
