Job Description

- Source and procure required products from warehouses based on organizational needs
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased items from the warehouses
- Maintain effective communication with warehouse staff to coordinate and track orders
- Conduct market research and perform price comparisons to identify cost-effective purchasing options
- Maintain a database of pricing information and vendor catalogs for reference
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and confirm purchase requirements
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing
- Monitor vendor performance, including delivery reliability and product quality, and address any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase transactions, POs, and other relevant documentation
- Assist in the preparation of reports, metrics, and analysis related to purchasing activities
- Collaborate with various departments such as finance, business, ensure alignment in procurement activities
